We heard what you had to say about last years camps and we shall be turning out 2 Visual Arts Camps, 2 Music Camps and 2 Digital Camps. We are proposing to avoid weeks with long weekends in them. We have also determined to focus on an age group of 9 - 12 and rotate the camps between Alliston, Baxter, and Beeton.

Summer Arts Camp Registration Form 2012

August 13 - 17, Alliston, Digital Camp Claymation by Director's Cut

CLAYMATION

In our claymation workshop, campers will create a stop-motion animation film that is sure to rival the likes of Tim Burton and Wallace & Gromit. The filmmakers will create their own original characters out of clay, and then help bring them to life through the use of the latest stop motion animation software. Everything from set design to scriptwriting will be covered.  Once complete, campers will edit their movies on Final Cut Pro X and create an authentic movie trailer to advertise their film. The finished films may be shown on the big screen at Cineplex Theatres across Canada. www.thedirectorscut.ca

August 20 - 24, Alliston, Digital Camp Filmmaking by Directors Cut

FEATURE FILMMAKING

In our feature film workshop, campers will work together with REAL filmmakers to story
board, script write, location-scout, and shoot their original film in eye-catching HD.Once complete, crews will edit their movie on Final Cut Pro X and create an authentic movie trailer to advertise their film. Family and friends will join crews at the DC red carpet film festival at the end of the week. The finished films may be shown on the big screen at Cineplex Theatres across Canada. Of course, the DC experience would not be complete without our Hollywood A-list activities, including pie fights, water balloon battles, and other cutting edge activities that will help to unleash your inner Spielberg! www.thedirectorscut.ca
