Commitment:
The South Simcoe Arts Council (SSAC) respects your privacy. We adhere to relevant privacy legislation and do not rent, sell or trade our mailing list. The information that you provided will be used only to assist us in the delivering of SSAC Services.

All efforts are made to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the records that we keep. We are committed to ensuring that appropriate measures and safeguards are in place to protect the information that is held in order to deliver SSAC Services. The information collected is retained for 5 years before appropriate disposal takes place.

The SSAC membership list is a controlled document for internal use only. Access is given only to those entrusted with delivering SSAC services. Any further distribution or release of information will be with the consent of the individual member.

SSAC reviews its Privacy Policy regularly in accordance with the relevant legislation.

Donor Confidentiality:
While SSAC publicly acknowledges donations and contributions to the organization, we also recognize and respect any donor’s wishes regarding anonymity that is consistent with our legal obligations and requirements.

Website:
Our website is operated for the benefit of our members and those interested in supporting our organization. Personal contact or financial information is not stored on the website, with the exception of contact information for SSAC Board members, which is used with their permission. SSAC maintains links on the website to members’ arts-related sites and other outside sources as a convenience for users. We are not liable for the content, policies or damages, direct or indirect, resulting from use of these web sites and their links.

Definitions:
Information: This includes Name and/or Contact Name, Family Members Names, business name, complete mailing address, telephone number, fax number, email address and website.

Membership Lists:
List of current members in good standing of SSAC and their information.

The services include:

Delivery of our quarterly publication, ArtsTalk
Delivery of our annual members directory
Sponsorship of competitions, demonstrations, exhibitions & juried shows
Educational programs
Artists’ support programs
Scholarships & awards
Fundraising
Referrals of members to 3rd parties
Maintenance of arts resources centre
Links on the SSAC website for members’ arts-based businesses
