Membership
in the South Simcoe Arts Council is open to anyone in the community
with an interest in the arts: professionals, students, patrons,
politicians, merchants, parents and teachers are welcome.

ArtsTalk - A newsletter filled with listings of
current and upcoming events such as concerts, exhibitions,
performances, art calls and workshops available to the local
Arts community.
E-blast
- Receive frequent emails of upcoming arts events.
Directory
- Inclusion in the Arts Council Directory, a source and resource
for the community that is distributed to local and regional libraries,
schools, chambers of commerce, tourist and information centres.
Networking
- Attend or establish workshops as a means of growth and an opportunity
to meet other artists.
Showcasing
- Participate in the “Festival of the Arts”,
a terrific venue to present, promote and develop the local
arts community.
Exhibiting
- Show your artwork in local venues, such as the Libraries
and Groundswell Cafe. Contact the office for more details.
Teaching
- Share your talents. Opportunities, such as Summer Arts
Camps and other workshops, are varied. Contact the office
for more details.
Politics
- Vote at our annual and general meetings. We need your input
to help set the direction and focus of issues you consider relevant
in our agenda.
Growth
- Create your own sub-committee or guild to further promote
specific areas of creative expression.
Volunteer
Opportunities - Join an eclectic group of people dedicated
to the development and support of the creative arts; people with
a variety of experiences and disciplines who generously share
time and talent with each other and their communities.
