GROWING
THE ARTS IN SOUTH SIMCOE
The
South Simcoe Arts Council is growing the arts in South Simcoe
and represents the arts community in the area. This includes the
towns of Alliston, Angus, Beeton, Bradford, Cookstown, Tottenham,
Innisfil, and the Townships of Essa, Adjala-Tosorontio, West Gwillimbury
and Base Borden. Formed in 2008, the Council seeks to further
awareness of the arts in the area.

ONTARIO
ARTS COUNCIL FUNDING
The South Simcoe Arts Council has been successful in a grant application,
and we have received a grant of $4500 from the Ontario Arts Council,
to be used for the Festival of the Arts.

TRILLIUM FOUNDATION
The Ontario Trillium Foundation, an agency of the Ministry of
Culture, receives annually $100 million of government funding
generated through Ontario's charity casino initiative.
CASINO
RAMA COMMUNITY WELLNESS PROGRAM
Casino Rama's Community Wellness Program is based on the First
Nations medicine wheel, stressing balance in all parts of one's
life. SSAC received a grant for $2544 toward our art programmes
for seniors and adults with special needs.
