Become a movie director and digital editor! During this
week long day camp students will learn how to use their
digital camera and computer software to film short movies
and stop animation videos. They will create and assemble
a short video production to keep. They will also learn about
technical operations as a part of the production process.
Campers will learn to storyboard, film, act, and edit productions
through hands-on multi-media activities. At the end of the
session, we will host a SSAC Summer Student Film Festival
where all video productions will be screened, and parents
will be allowed to attend.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: digital camera and/or digital video
camera. Laptop with Windows Movie Maker (standard on most
computers with Windows XP operating system). Note, every
participant does not need their own equipment, so from 2
to 3 kids who are coming together can share if they know
each other. Please arrange this before coming to the camp.
